I just want to start off by saying, “Thank you” to my mother for always being willing to indulge my creative whims. I really wanted to play with color theory, embrace the breaking of social norms, and bring a vintage feeling to these pictures. I absolutely love red on my mom. I also found inspiration from her traditional-style tattoos. My mother is a nurse, so I also found vision in the vintage nurse uniforms and put my own modern twist on it.
